A leading UK utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver gas infrastructure projects across the UK.

The role involves managing projects across pipelines and above-ground installations (AGIs), including PRSs, Offtakes, Compressor Stations and Terminals. Works range from core maintenance to complex, multi-discipline schemes aligned with the UK’s energy transition, including Hydrogen and CCUS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage gas projects from construction through commissioning and close-out
  • Interface with pre-construction teams to ensure effective project handover
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ, regulatory and industry standards
  • Manage project budgets, variations and commercial performance
  • Maintain project programmes and manage delivery-phase risks
  • Act as the primary client contact during delivery
  • Lead and support site and project teams

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering gas infrastructure projects (utilities sector experience advantageous)
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
  • SMSTS and CSCS
