Job Description: Integra Education are seeking a dedicated and engaging English and Psychology Tutor to support a Year 11 pupil on a 1:1 basis for approximately 1-6 hours per week, this role will be out in the community and not in school. Hours may increase depending on the pupil\'s engagement and progress. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge in both English and Psychology, and ideally experience working with young people who benefit from tailored, individualised support - including those with special educational needs (SEN). Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions in English and Psychology, tailored to the pupil\'s academic level and learning style Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and support exam preparation Track progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure continued improvement Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider support team regarding progress and goals Support the development of study skills and exam techniques Maintain accurate records of attendance and progressQualifications and Experience Proven experience tutoring or teaching English and/or Psychology (GCSE level or above) Experience supporting SEN pupils is highly advantageous Excellent communication and organisational skills Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to learning needs A relevant teaching or tutoring qualification is preferredThis is a rewarding part-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young learners achieve their potential in a supportive, flexible environment.
