Why This Role Matters
You’ll tutor 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need learning done differently — including those with SEN, SEMH, or care experience. Your support will build confidence, engagement, and real progress.
The Role
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group sessions tailored to each pupil’s unique needs
- Create engaging, confidence-boosting lessons that inspire progress
- Support learning in English, Maths, Science, or specialist subjects
- Work flexibly across schools, libraries, community spaces, or pupil homes
- Track progress and celebrate every success, big or small
What We’re Looking For
- Previous tutoring experience (Primary or Secondary)
- Ability to teach Maths, English, or Science (other subjects welcome!)
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working independently
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A teaching qualification is desirable – but not essential. Experience, compassion, and commitment matter just as much.
