An internal office-based sales role inheriting an established portfolio of accounts to manage and increase sales from, whilst also winning new business. Selling a wide range of commercial and industrial supplies to end-users across vertical markets that include oil & gas, construction, engineering, aerospace and manufacturing.
Package: circa £30k basic with a £6k uncapped commission and bonus scheme - 25 days holiday and pension scheme
Territory: Scotland, based from my clients Grangemouth office
Products: Industrial supplies, from PPE, workwear, janitorial supplies, hand tools, ironmongery, sealants, adhesives…
Customers: Commercial and industrial end-users across oil & gas, construction, engineering, aerospace, local councils and manufacturing
The Role:
- An office-based telesales role selling a wide range of PPE, workwear, janitorial supplies, hand tools, ironmongery, sealants, adhesives…
- Selling across vertical markets that include oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, councils, education, fisheries and engineering
- You will inherit 350 established accounts to manage and increase sales from
- As well as a portfolio of dormant and low spending accounts to win back
- Whilst also prospecting to win new business, and add new accounts to your portfolio
- To date the approach has been very relaxed and the customers haven’t really been managed or sold to, and could respond very positively to a more proactive approach
The Successful Applicant:
- You will have a proven track record within internal sales, and be a confident communicator with excellent telephone skills
- Highly organised, target-driven with a positive and energetic attitude
- Applicants with experience selling their products will be readily received, although my client is open to recruiting from other industrial and commercial backgrounds
