Our client is a well-established, high-end UK manufacturer and contractor within the curtain walling, architectural glazing and façade sector. They are looking to recruit a Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working alongside and learning from an experienced QS and site management team. This is a structured entry-level role with full training provided.

Location: South London/North Surrey, from my clients Chessington office

Package: £31k basic + annual bonus + 22 days holiday

The Role – Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  • Supporting an experienced Quantity Surveyor and site team on live projects
  • Gaining exposure from design stage through to project completion
  • Assisting with valuations, cost control and budget management
  • Supporting labour tracking and the payment process
  • Attending site visits, gaining hands-on project experience
  • Progressing over time into managing your own projects

The Successful Applicant - Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  • You will have a Degree or industry qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Either a recent graduate or someone with some QS experience
  • Keen to build a long-term career in Quantity Surveying
  • Well organised, structured and detail-oriented
  • Motivated to learn and develop into a stand alone QS role
