A sales management role responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for this industry leading UK building products manufacturer. With the focus on driving and increasing market share with national and regional house builders, most of which they already work with.
Package: £70k-£75k basic with a £10k uncapped bonus scheme. Family Bupa healthcare, management team pension, hybrid company car and 24 days holiday.
Location: National role, to be Midlands / Centrally based.
Products: GRP Canopy's, Dormer's, Chimney's, Bay Windows and Door Surrounds.
Customers: National house builders, regional developers and housing associations.
The Role:
- Responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy, with the focus on driving and increasing market share with national and regional house builders.
- Lead, coach and mentor a small team of 3 field sales representatives, and 3 office-based estimating / pre-construction specialists.
- Conducting dual visits with your field sales team, and personally managing the relationship with the house builders at head office level.
- Strengthening relationships with purchasing, handling negotiations and laying the foundations for your team to get around the regional offices.
- Working closely with your internal estimating team, who go through the drawings, carry out designs and work out all the pricing.
- Whilst working alongside internal stakeholders across production, finance, marketing.
The Successful Applicant:
- You will already have leadership skills and experience of managing a small team.
- With proven sector experience selling into house builders.
- You will be a skilled negotiator with a good understanding of the procurement process.
- Whilst being a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
