A technical OEM lead sales role promoting my clients off the shelf and bespoke design and manufacturing solutions for valves, controls and components in the heating, plumbing, renewable and bathroom sector.
Products: Valves, controls and components
Customers: OEM's, manufacturers of heating, plumbing, heat pumps, renewable, showers, taps and underfloor heating
Territory: National role to be centrally based around the Midlands
Package: circa £55k basic with a £5k bonus scheme. Hybrid company car, laptop, mobile
The Role:
- Inheriting a portfolio of 30 OEM accounts from someone being promoted within the business, so there will be a warm handover and dual calls to kick you off
- The role will be a 50/50 split between developing the relationship with these existing accounts to increase spend, and identifying and winning new manufacturers
- Promoting my clients off the shelf and bespoke design and manufacturing solutions for valves, controls and components in the heating, plumbing, renewable and bathroom sector
- A technical role that will involve sitting down with technical departments and product managers to help design products and put specifications together for their next boiler, heat pump, tap, shower, underfloor heating system
The Successful Applicant:
- You will firstly have a technical understanding of how a heating system works and the components that fit within them
- You are also likely to have experience of either selling into the OEM sector, or have worked for a manufacturer in a technical sales role
- You will have first class communication skills and be confident communicator at all levels
