Our client is an established high-end UK manufacturer and contractor within the curtain walling, architectural glazing and window facades sector, and are recruiting for a Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor to work alongside, support and learn from an experienced QS and site management team. Full training will be provided, both from their North Somerset office and on-site.

Location: North Somerset - Bristol/Bath area close to Bristol Airport

Package: £28k-£31k basic + annual company bonus and 22 days holiday

The Successful Applicant - Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  • You will have a construction degree, preferably in quantity surveying but other construction degrees with transferable skills will be considered.
  • This is a trainee role and my client is looking for someone they can mould, train and develop into a stand-alone QS role.
  • You may already have some experience working as a trainee QS, or you could be a straight grad looking to start your career.
  • You will also be structured and well organised in your approach, with an eye for detail.

The Role – Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  • This is a trainee role where you work alongside, support and learn from an experienced QS and site management team.
  • Full training will be provided, both on-site and from their North Somerset office.
  • You will get to be involved with projects from the design stage, and be mostly involved in valuations of works, making sure budgets don’t get out of control, labour management.
