Salary Range: $75,000 to $110,000
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or related accounting/finance/tax experience
- 3 to 5 years tax accounting experience a must
- Detail-oriented - must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex federal and state income tax returns, including supporting work papers for various types of returns such as individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entity types for our small business clients and comply with the appropriate regulations at the federal, state, and local level
- Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates for individuals and entities
- Ability to identify issues, including those pertaining to preparation of multi-state income tax returns, and identify steps needed to resolve
- Ability to supervise, train, and coach staff
- Perform research and stay up to date with US tax laws
- Respond to tax notices and prepare drafts of letters required in an effective manner
- Prepare 1099s, payroll, sales and other local tax returns
- Respond to IRS and state taxing authority inquiries for our business clients
- Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information with clients
- Financial planning, analysis, and other special projects as assigned
Additional Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in public accounting
- Experience with federal and state tax returns for small corporations, partnerships and individuals
- Experience with small business financial statement preparation and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA license obtained or in progress
- Creative problem solving and research skills
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Highly motivated and proactive in taking steps towards professional growth and development
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
