- Liaise with Principal Designer/Principal Contractor, supply chain and client H&S teams on Pre‑Construction information and residual risks.
- Implement ISO 14001 controls for waste, spill response, storage of fuels/chemicals, noise/dust; monitor duty of care and licensed carriers.
- Support carbon/waste/water metrics, SECR inputs and project‑level environmental objectives (e.g., transport optimisation, off‑site efficiency).
- Lead environmental briefings and incident investigations; maintain aspects/impacts and legal registers.
- Conduct risk‑based audits against ISO 45001/14001/9001 and client requirements; maintain evidence and action logs.
- Maintain legal compliance registers, HSEQ KPIs and dashboards (e.g., AFR, LTIFR, near‑miss rate, audit closure).
- Contribute to tenders, PQQs and client meetings with robust HSEQ evidence and case studies.
- Attend daily/weekly production and site meetings; provide timely HSEQ input to planning, logistics and lifting operations (BS 7121).
- Support emergency preparedness: drills, spill kits, fire safety, first aid coverage and BCP interfaces.
