Job Title

Technical Project Manager – Remote – 6 Month Contract – PAYE Β£600 Per Day

Overview

A fantastic contract opportunity has become available with our client, a prominent player in the financial services industry. We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager on a contract basis until the end of the year, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a remote-first position with occasional (quarterly) meet-ups in the office. The role will focus on delivering complex digital and cloud-based projects with a strong emphasis on solution design and technical leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Lead delivery of key projects across cloud migration, API development, digital platforms, and system integration
  2. Work within value streams and Centres of Excellence, aligning project goals with business strategy
  3. Act as a key interface between technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
  4. Provide technical input and challenge proposals to ensure high-quality outcomes
  5. Translate complex technical concepts into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders
  6. Support Agile ways of working and help drive continuous delivery and innovation
  7. Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure smooth handover to support teams
  8. Proven experience delivering technical projects in Agile environments
  9. Hands-on technical background (ideally previously a developer or similar role)
  10. Strong experience with Azure (AWS exposure is a bonus)
  11. Skilled in managing vendors and offshore teams
  12. Excellent communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive outcomes
  13. Comfortable with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO)
  14. Experience delivering across infrastructure, software, and digital platforms
  15. Ability to operate independently, handle ambiguity, and think strategically
  16. Β£600 per day (inclusive of holiday)
  17. Inside IR35 (PAYE) – Only deductions are EMPLOYEES.
  18. Fully remote
  19. 6 month contract (potential to go perm)
