Technical Project Manager – Remote β 6 Month Contract β PAYE Β£600 Per Day
Overview
A fantastic contract opportunity has become available with our client, a prominent player in the financial services industry. Weβre seeking a Technical Project Manager on a contract basis until the end of the year, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a remote-first position with occasional (quarterly) meet-ups in the office. The role will focus on delivering complex digital and cloud-based projects with a strong emphasis on solution design and technical leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of key projects across cloud migration, API development, digital platforms, and system integration
- Work within value streams and Centres of Excellence, aligning project goals with business strategy
- Act as a key interface between technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
- Provide technical input and challenge proposals to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders
- Support Agile ways of working and help drive continuous delivery and innovation
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure smooth handover to support teams
- Proven experience delivering technical projects in Agile environments
- Hands-on technical background (ideally previously a developer or similar role)
- Strong experience with Azure (AWS exposure is a bonus)
- Skilled in managing vendors and offshore teams
- Excellent communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive outcomes
- Comfortable with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience delivering across infrastructure, software, and digital platforms
- Ability to operate independently, handle ambiguity, and think strategically
- Β£600 per day (inclusive of holiday)
- Inside IR35 (PAYE) β Only deductions are EMPLOYEES.
