Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, an exciting technology organisation, for an experienced Technical Lead to design and deliver technical development programmes in the Life and Pensions sector. These engagements involve the development of new digital products and services; a background in hands-on development is essential for this posting.
The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role, interfacing between the Product, Engineering, and Proposition teams to drive delivery. Day-to-day, you will work closely with the Product Owner, the Project Sponsor, and the Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Good working knowledge of the life insurance industry.
- Ability to work with a Product Owner to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective, clearly defined stories.
- Deep understanding, enthusiasm, and demonstrable experience performing a SCRUM Master role (certified SCRUM Master highly desirable).
- Full appreciation for how Agile accommodates change in a controlled, manageable way.
- Demonstrable ability to manage overall project delivery expectations (timescales and budget) using SCRUM techniques.
