We are seeking an exceptional, cross‑functional Business Systems Engineer to administer, manage, and evolve our clients core business platforms. This role spans CRM, ERP, data services, and integration technologies, with a strong focus on automation, optimisation, and scalability. The successful candidate will bring deep hands‑on experience across enterprise systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, and Microsoft Azure Data Services, alongside integration platforms including Celigo and Riva. A consultancy background would be well suited.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring business systems are robust, secure, well‑governed, and aligned to organisational objectives, while actively supporting innovation and continuous improvement. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to deliver reliable systems, high‑quality data, and seamless user experiences.
Role and Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and optimise core business systems including NetSuite, HubSpot, and integration platforms.
- Perform day‑to‑day operations, support, maintenance, and change requests across the full business systems landscape.
- Manage system integrations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data flows between platforms.
- Oversee user provisioning, roles, permissions, and access controls across systems.
- Monitor system performance, usage, scheduled scripts, and data quality.
- Lead or support full‑cycle business systems projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, delivery, and change management.
- Manage NetSuite change control and semi‑annual release processes.
- Ensure ERP and CRM data governance, integrity, security, and compliance.
- Provide second‑line support and deliver ongoing technical and systems training to users.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Engage with suppliers to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, and ensure service levels and SLAs are met.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to enhance CRM, ERP, and integration capabilities.
- Support budgeting and supplier management within the Information Systems function.
- Produce system specifications and solution documentation in collaboration with business analysts.
- Deliver a consistently high‑quality service to internal users and stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years’ advanced hands‑on experience administering and optimising NetSuite Finance and CRM.
- Experience with HubSpot, Celigo, and enterprise system integrations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL (2005–2012), procedural SQL, and stored procedure development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including SQL and Logic Apps.
- Proven ability to design and implement automation, scripting, and system customisations.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, CRM platforms, and end‑to‑end business processes.
- Experience managing data integrity, duplication issues, reporting, and reconciliation across multiple data sources.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex systems clearly.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with website integrations and e‑commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Bottomline Technologies software.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
