Our client, a highly reputable and leading technology provider is hiring a Technical Account Manager who possess industry experience within the financial / insurance domain to be based in Sittingbourne, 2 days per week + additional benefits.
Our client is open to someone who is interested in developing their understanding of the technology (Cloud, Networking, EUC, Modern Workplace) but requires an individual who has prior knowledge of the financial or insurance markets as a must as have as they continue their journey within the regulated industry space.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within the financial sector.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in financial institutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions and recommendations.
- Utilise networking knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for implementing and optimizing networking solutions for clients.
- Collaborate closely with partners sales team to enable them to generate new leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into long-term clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Skills & Experience
- Good experience as an Account Manager working within a technology based environment for Financia/Insurance Services clients is a must have.
- Good understanding of financial/Insurance industry dynamics, regulations, and challenges faced by financial institutions.
- Knowledge and understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and security.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing key accounts.
