We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect to act as a trusted advisor on enterprise platform strategy and governance. This is a senior, programme-level contract role focused on defining platform standards, shaping governance models, and ensuring ServiceNow remains scalable, secure, and aligned to business objectives.
You will work closely with CxO stakeholders, enterprise architects, delivery partners, and platform teams, influencing strategic decisions and driving consistency across a complex, multi-team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform vision and strategy aligned to enterprise IT and business goals.
- Provide architectural leadership to ensure solutions align with platform standards and leading practices.
- Design and shape governance frameworks, including instance strategy, integrations, and data models.
- Facilitate and lead platform governance forums to drive consistent decision-making across teams and partners.
- Anticipate, assess, and mitigate platform risks including scalability, performance, and technical debt.
- Influence adoption of best practices across customer, partner, and ServiceNow teams.
- Provide structured feedback to ServiceNow product and engineering teams to inform platform evolution.
- Extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, enterprise architecture, and solution strategy.
- Proven ability to operate at programme level, guiding multiple teams and partners toward a unified platform vision.
- Strong track record designing multi-workflow, enterprise-scale architectures.
- Expertise in platform governance, integration patterns, and complex delivery models.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.
- Exposure to leveraging or assessing AI-enabled tools, automation, and insights within enterprise platforms.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) highly desirable, alongside other architecture or governance certifications.
Target start: March 2026
Location: UK wide – largely remote with travel to UK & Ireland client sites as required.
