Our defence client designs and manufactures advanced RF components for secure communications. They are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to support the design, simulation, testing, and optimisation of RF circuits and subsystems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF components and subsystems
- Perform RF simulation, modelling, and lab-based testing
- Troubleshoot and optimise performance parameters (gain, noise figure, power, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with systems, electronics, and firmware teams
- Produce technical documentation and test reports
Requirements
- Strong hands-on RF engineering background
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST)
- Experience using RF lab test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, signal generators)
- Understanding of microwave design principles
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain (UK residency required)
