REPO Tester – 6 Month Contract – Up to £650 per day (Inside IR35) – London – Investment Banking
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced REPO Tester for a 6-month initial contract with a leading investment bank in London, offering a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bonds and repos, integration testing, and a strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes. This role requires close collaboration with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bonds and Repos Testing: Apply deep expertise in bonds and repos to perform end-to-end testing and validation.
- Integration Testing: Conduct comprehensive integration tests to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
- Trade Reporting and Reconciliation: Validate trade reporting and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Murex Testing: Leverage hands-on experience with Murex systems (MXG2000 & MX3) for trade lifecycle testing.
- Trade Lifecycle Testing: Execute thorough testing of trade lifecycle processes, from initiation to settlement.
- Data Mapping and Validation: Perform detailed data mapping, validation, and analysis to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans, prepare test cases, execute tests, and document results.
- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, log, and manage defects through resolution, ensuring timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure effective test coverage.
- Reporting: Generate regular status reports and test summaries for key stakeholders, highlighting progress and critical issues.
