A market leading organization operating within the Banking space are searching for an experienced Product Owner with strong Payments experience to join a large-scale transformation programme on a hybrid basis in London.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog for Payments initiatives, ensuring clear prioritisation aligned to business value.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners.
- Drive product delivery across the full lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation.
- Work closely with agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure Payments solutions align with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Provide clear product direction, roadmap input, and delivery updates to senior stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of Payments products and delivery processes.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Product Owner within Payments.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, flows, and operational processes.
- Experience working within large, complex financial services or banking environments.
- Strong experience working within agile delivery frameworks (Scrum / SAFe / Kanban).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
