We are seeking an experienced Privileged Access Management (PAM) Lead with strong CyberArk expertise to own and evolve an enterprise-wide PAM capability. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining strategy, engineering, governance, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for PAM operations across multiple regulated business entities, operating with delegated authority to make decisions that reduce risk and strengthen security posture across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the privileged access management strategy, roadmap, and operating model
- Establish policies, standards, and controls aligned to frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS
- Act as the senior technical authority and escalation point for PAM and CyberArk
- Design, implement, and maintain CyberArk solutions including Vault, CPM, PSM, PVWA, CCP/AIM, Conjur and related components
- Lead onboarding of platforms, applications, and privileged accounts across on-prem and cloud environments
- Implement credential rotation, session monitoring, secrets management, and least-privilege access
- Integrate PAM with directories, SIEM, ticketing tools, DevOps pipelines, and cloud services
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory expectations
- Develop operational procedures, runbooks, and documentation
- Review logs, alerts, and session recordings to identify anomalous activity
- Support audits, risk assessments, and remediation initiatives related to privileged access
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, and development teams to embed PAM controls
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team
- Manage third-party vendors and oversee upgrades, patches, and platform improvements
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years’ experience working with CyberArk in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of privileged access concepts, zero trust, and access control
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux authentication, AD/LDAP, and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, APIs)
- Experience securing hybrid environments (on-prem, AWS, Azure)
- Proven ability to work in complex, regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- CyberArk or security-related certifications
- Experience with metrics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS
