Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, production-grade software systems.
- Take ownership of technical decisions end-to-end, from architecture to deployment and operation.
- Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor other engineers, review code, and uphold engineering quality and best practices.
- Ensure systems are reliable, secure, observable, and highly performant.
- Balance greenfield development with thoughtful modernization of existing platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of production software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
- Expertise in Golang and/or C# (.NET).
- Cloud-native software design experience (AWS or equivalent).
- Knowledge of containerization and DevOps principles, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of web and internet protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP).
- Team-focused attitude and a passion for technology and continuous learning.
