  • A leading consulting organisation is seeking an experienced

Programme Director to lead a complex, enterprise-wide Technology Transformation programme.

This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for delivering a major transformation agenda that will reshape the technology function, implement a new Target Operating Model (TOM), and drive sustainable organisational change.

Reporting to executive stakeholders, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring successful delivery against programme objectives while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder alignment, commercial oversight and delivery assurance.

This role requires an exceptional transformation leader who has successfully delivered large-scale technology programmes within complex organisations and is comfortable operating at Board and Executive level whilst maintaining visibility and control across multiple delivery teams and third-party partners.

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of a major enterprise-wide technology transformation programme.
  • Establish and lead programme governance, reporting, assurance and executive decision-making forums.
  • Direct multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring effective planning, sequencing and delivery.
  • Mobilise the programme, defining governance structures, delivery approach and operating cadence.
  • Lead the implementation of a new Technology Target Operating Model.
  • Own integrated programme planning, dependency management and delivery assurance.
  • Manage programme risks, issues and enterprise-wide impacts, ensuring effective mitigation.
  • Build trusted relationships with Executive and Board stakeholders, providing clear reporting and strategic updates.
  • Oversee consulting partners, suppliers and delivery teams, ensuring successful execution and commercial control.
  • Maintain responsibility for programme budgets, forecasts, investment governance and business cases.
  • Drive programme performance, benefits realisation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing programme leadership team.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes as a

Programme Director .

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide organisational and technology change, including Target Operating Model implementation.
  • Strong consulting or advisory background, ideally delivering complex transformation programmes for major organisations.
  • Demonstrable success taking programmes from mobilisation through to implementation and business adoption.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with credibility at Board, C-suite and Executive level.
  • Deep expertise in programme governance, delivery assurance, portfolio management and enterprise risk.
  • Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams across business, technology and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including programme budgeting, forecasting and investment governance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to simplify complex challenges and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology organisations, operating models and large-scale transformation delivery.
