A leading corporation that is currently undergoing a huge IT transformation is seeking a Network Engineer to lead on a number of exciting projects including a Cisco to Palo Alto firewall upgrade and end to end installation of fibre broadband.
The chosen Network Engineer must have strong capabilities in Palo Alto, be CISCO qualified (CCNA/CCNP) and possess layer 1 to layer 7 end to end delivery. Any exposure or understanding of Infoblox and experience working within local authority would be highly desirable.
As a third line escalation point for incidents and problems and change relating to the business’ network infrastructure, the key purpose of this role is to support both project delivery and escalated BAU activity by ensuring the business has stable, performant and secure systems from a day to day operational perspective.
Core experience required:
- Strong capabilities in firewall upgrade/replacement from CISCO to Palo Alto
- Exposure to Cisco WiFi, Cisco DNA, Cisco ISE is a must
- Recent capabilities in telecommunication proficiencies and experience rolling out a fibre broadband project
- Experience of Infoblox to engage with DNS/DHCP would be fantastic
