An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integration Engineer to join a global Financial Services organisation undergoing major technology transformation. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations across a complex technology landscape. Working closely with application teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, you will build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange between critical business systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support integrations across enterprise applications and platforms.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, event-driven integrations, messaging solutions, and file-based interfaces.
- Develop integrations using Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support integration projects through the full software development lifecycle.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues in production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and data mappings.
- Participate in integration design reviews and contribute to best practice standards.
- Work with third-party vendors to deliver and support system integrations.
- Support testing activities including system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience in Integration Engineering, Middleware Development, Systems Integration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience developing integrations between enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, WMS, TMS, or other business-critical systems.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, SOAP services, messaging technologies, and file-based integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services including Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, OData, and data transformation techniques.
- Ability to create technical specifications, interface designs, and support documentation.
Desirable:
- Development experience with C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Azure certifications.
- Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of supply chain or enterprise operational systems integrations.
