An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global FinTech organisation for a Cyber Risk & Compliance Analyst. This role will support the development and delivery of the organisation's cyber security, technology risk, and compliance capabilities, helping to strengthen resilience and improve proactive risk management across the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with technology, operations, and business teams to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber and operational risks while supporting governance, compliance, and security initiatives. This role offers excellent exposure to executive-level reporting, security operations, audit activities, and enterprise risk management within a fast-paced regulated environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of technology, cyber, operational, and compliance risks across the organisation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, controls, and governance processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support remediation planning for identified vulnerabilities and control gaps.
  • Monitor and analyse cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks.
  • Support security and compliance activities across technology delivery and operational processes.
  • Assist with audit preparation, evidence gathering, remediation tracking, and control improvement activities.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in cyber security, technology risk, IT governance, compliance, or information security analysis roles.
  • Understanding of cyber security principles, risk management methodologies, and security controls.
  • Experience supporting risk assessments, audits, compliance reviews, or control testing activities.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, or GDPR.
  • Ability to analyse technical risks and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience within financial services, FinTech, or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, operational resilience, or third-party risk management.
  • Exposure to SIEM, vulnerability management, or security monitoring tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001.
