Overview
We are seeking a Launch Manager to join my client, one of the world’s largest and most renowned multinational technology conglomerates, to support the release of gaming, application, and media content. This role will provide technical, operational, and strategic support to developers launching applications and experiences within my client’s global ecosystem. As part of the team, you will work closely with developers, engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth and successful product launches.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee product launches, providing technical and operational support to developers.
- Act as a secondary Launch Manager for high-profile MR (Mixed Reality) and app releases.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Partner teams to resolve launch issues.
- Monitor release workflows and proactively address any risks or bottlenecks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on submission and publishing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal launch support services.
- Report on launch trends and advocate for platform-wide enhancements.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in app/game production, operations, QA, or developer relations.
- Strong technical literacy and familiarity with VR/MR ecosystems.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
- Experience working with engineering, product, and design teams.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in at least two languages relevant to the local region.
- Experience as a Launch Manager or Release Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in three or more languages relevant to the local region.
