Information Manager Digital Engineering Our client, a large transportation business, is hiring an Information Manager with experience in Digital Engineering within an engineering/consultancy corporation with the ability to manage technical information by designing data such as Assets, CAD, GIS, and Packaging Domains. On a daily basis, you will support the performance and reporting of digital engineering requirements, provide leadership to third-party contractors, and assure the delivery plans for multiple projects. Our client is looking to pay £53,850 to £67,300 + 15% bonus + 25 days holiday + 12% pension to be based in London on a hybrid basis. Core responsibilities: Assuring Contractors BIM & Digital Engineering processes are fit for purpose through review of BIM Execution Plans and conducting audits (Technical Assurance Reviews), Assure the digital information quality of the delivery plans (MIDP / MPDT, IDP), Assure BIM &Digital Engineering design data (Asset, CAD, GIS, Packaging domains) is submitted the first time, that it adheres to requirements and is fit for purpose through review of the process and conduct spot checks on data quality in advance of key milestones, including IDR and submission for acceptance, Support to Contractors’ delivery of, and where necessary, escalation of issues for BIM improvement plans. Leadership of a single point of contact within contract responsibility for all BIM &Digital Engineering design data activities, including support to project managers and engineers to address Technical Queries and Requests for Information. Key Technical Skills: Experience in BIM/Digital Engineering within an engineering or consultancy organisation or multi-disciplinary project, Experience in managing technical information in a complex environment. Experience in systems assurance and common data environments, Experience in rail industry, Experience in using BIM, GIS, or Asset data to undertake analysis, provide solutions, or improve processes, Experience in contributing to the change management process, including advising on the financial and time impact of change related to BIM, information management, or digital data standards and processes.
