Join a leading financial services organisation undergoing a large-scale Finance Transformation programme aimed at modernising finance operations, enhancing control, and improving business insight. This is a strategic role focused on finance operations, accounting processes, and management reporting, not just system implementation. Weβre seeking a Business Analyst with a solid finance background, ideally a qualified accountant, who can work closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful change in how finance data is captured, structured, and reported.
Key Focus Areas:
- Finance Operations Transformation β Redesigning and improving core accounting processes to better capture debits, credits, and end-to-end finance workflows.
- PNL & Management Reporting β Supporting the creation of a fit-for-purpose P&L and management reporting suite to improve business visibility and performance tracking.
- Finance Data β Driving consistency and integrity in finance data to enable strategic decision-making.
- Business Metrics β Collaborating with finance teams to define and report on key business metrics for greater operational insight and control.
- ERP Integration (D365) β Supporting the configuration and use of D365 Finance & Operations to enable accurate accounting and reporting processes. Systems knowledge is important but secondary to finance process expertise.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Experience delivering finance transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of finance operations, accounting principles, and reporting best practices.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent finance background.
- Experience working with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365), with a focus on how they support finance teams.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and bridging the gap between finance and technology teams.
