We are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Operations Engineer to identify automation opportunities and build powerful tools that make our clients' systems smarter and teams more efficient. From scripting to deployment, monitoring to incident response, this role will shape the future of how our client delivers IT.

This position is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining infrastructure, ensuring systems run reliably and securely. Acting as the escalation point, this role handles complex support tickets that require advanced technical expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Automation Development: Identify inefficiencies and build automation solutions using tools like PowerShell, Python, and Bash to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Automate detection, triage, and resolution processes, and contribute to root cause analysis with preventive automation.
  • Change & Configuration Management: Design automated workflows for patching and infrastructure changes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Intune.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Infrastructure Ops, Service Desk, and Field Services to integrate automation into daily workflows and promote best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document automation processes clearly and provide training to support team-wide adoption and continuous improvement.

Perform regular updates and patches to keep environments compliant, while troubleshooting challenging issues to deliver lasting solutions. Strong experience in 3rd line support with a focus on automation. Hands-on expertise with Office 365, Azure, scripting (PowerShell), and workflow automation. Skilled in stakeholder engagement with excellent communication abilities. Customer-centric, process-driven, and detail-oriented. Resilient under pressure, accountable, and committed to infrastructure stability. Familiar with ITIL best practices for structured operations. Expertise in Active Directory. Familiarity with Windows Server and Microsoft OS troubleshooting. A problem solver, innovator, and collaborator who thrives under pressure.
