Our client, a highly reputable corporation that offers funding and investment to the UK population is hiring a Salesforce Test Engineer who has strong capabilities in Apex, Playwright, API testing and exposure to loans/investment applications. This is an initial 4 month contract, with minimal travel to Swindon to start ASAP. One state interview via MS teams.
We are only considering candidates who have automation testing experience in Salesforce, coupled with BPSS security vetting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead functional, integration, exploratory, and automation testing activities
- Work closely with Salesforce developers to improve unit test coverage and quality
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using Playwright, BDD/Cucumber, and API testing tools
- Manage defects, testing risks, and release processes
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure business scenarios are fully tested
- Mentor junior testers and promote best testing practices across teams
- Support Agile and DevOps ways of working
- Industry experience in Loans & Investments
- Strong Salesforce/SFDC testing experience
- Playwright, BDD/Cucumber, Postman or Rest Assured
- Experience testing JavaScript and React applications
- Agile, CI/CD, TDD and BDD knowledge
- Functional and integration testing expertise
- Experience with Loans & Investments applications, Conga templates, FinDock and GoCardless
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Salesforce Admin 201
- JavaScript, Java or Apex scripting knowledge
- ISTQB, Agile Tester or ITIL certifications
- Experience delivering digital transformation projects
