Our trusted partner within the Ed-Tech sector, employing over 10,000 people across 100 countries and supporting more than 600 million users globally, is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join a high-profile product engineering team developing innovative mobile learning applications.
This role is ideal for a QA professional with extensive experience testing native and cross-platform mobile applications across iOS and Android environments, coupled with a strong background in test automation and modern Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead quality assurance activities across mobile applications, ensuring exceptional user experience on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases.
- Design, implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tooling.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, performance, usability and compliance testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation capabilities and CI/CD practices.
- Provide guidance on mobile testing best practices, device compatibility and platform-specific considerations.
- Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer within a mobile application environment.
- Extensive testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Cypress, Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience testing APIs and backend services supporting mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience testing AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces or chatbots.
- Experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience testing voice-enabled applications.
- Experience within Ed-Tech, Education, SaaS or Product-led organisations.
- Exposure to AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with performance, security or compliance testing.
