Risk Reporting & Analytics Team Lead – Snowflake | Power BI | Banking Overview: A leading global financial institution is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to head its Risk Analysis and Reporting function. This is a key role for a delivery-focused professional with a technical background and a deep understanding of risk systems, who can drive innovation across Business Intelligence and data platforms. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing national team and play a central role in enhancing data capabilities using Snowflake and Power BI. Role & Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 data and analytics engineers Oversee delivery of risk reporting solutions across Market, Credit, and Enterprise Risk Liaise with risk managers and modellers to translate business needs into data solutions Drive project delivery, performance, and team development Support strategic growth of the Snowflake platform and Power BI capability Ensure alignment with risk and regulatory standards Essential Skills & Requirements: Strong leadership in BI, analytics, or data engineering, ideally within banking 5+ years of Snowflake experience with deep platform knowledge Proven experience with Power BI and server-based reporting environments Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions Solid understanding of risk systems, models, and regulatory data Confident stakeholder manager with a strong technical foundation Background in BI/data development Package: Basic salary: £135K Annual performance bonus Hybrid working model (3 days per week in central London office) Private medical cover Generous pension scheme Additional lifestyle and wellbeing benefits Risk Reporting & Analytics Team Lead – Snowflake | Power BI | Banking
