They are mid-way through a major digital transformation, and this is a great opportunity to join a growing engineering team and help shape modern, cloud-native platforms from the ground up.
This is a full stack position with a backend lean - you will be working across the stack in Next.js and React, but spending more time on the APIs, databases, and backend services that power everything behind the scenes.
You will be:
- Building and maintaining features across the stack, with a focus on backend logic and APIs
- Working closely with senior engineers to turn requirements into shipped features
- Building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
- Helping keep applications performant, secure, and accessible
- Getting stuck into code reviews as part of a collaborative team
What you will bring:
- 2-4 years' professional software development experience
- Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Comfortable across the full stack, with a backend leaning
- Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of SSR/SSG
- SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
- Some cloud exposure (AWS preferred) and Docker
- Solid grasp of web fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
Nice to have: Go/C# backend experience, microservices, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, OAuth/JWT/SSO.
