Director of Infrastructure Portfolio – £160K + 20% Bonus & Excellent Benefits – Hybrid / London Overview: A Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to oversee its Infrastructure Portfolio and drive enterprise-wide technology transformation. This high-impact role involves managing a portfolio of complex programmes, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, playing a key role in shaping the bank’s long-term infrastructure strategy while promoting innovation, efficiency, and best-in-class programme execution. Role & Responsibilities: Lead planning and execution of EMEA-wide Infrastructure and digital change initiatives. Own the end-to-end delivery portfolio, including project governance, resource planning, and benefits realisation. Oversee risk, budget, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams. Provide accurate portfolio reporting to senior committees and executive stakeholders. Line manage a delivery team and engage third-party vendors and consultants. Essential Skills & Requirements: 10+ years’ experience in programme/portfolio management within investment banking environments. Proven track record delivering complex IT and infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, financial control, and stakeholder management. Experience working with regulatory frameworks and enterprise-scale technology environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
