We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Delivery Transformation Lead to drive transformational change and evolve delivery capabilities across a complex business environment.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for leading a team of Project Managers, modernising delivery practices, and embedding high-performing ways of working that enable successful business change. You will play a pivotal role in connecting strategic objectives with effective execution, ensuring programmes and projects deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Delivery Transformation: Drive the evolution and modernisation of project delivery practices. Champion agile principles, Value Stream and Feature Team approaches, and innovative ways of working. Develop and embed delivery frameworks, methodologies, tools, and governance standards. Ensure delivery approaches are tailored to the complexity and nature of change initiatives.
- Build and Develop a High-Performing Team: Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence. Ensure the team has the skills, behaviours, and mindset required to deliver successful outcomes. Create development opportunities that support both individual and team growth.
- Strategic Delivery Leadership: Align change delivery activity with organisational strategy and business objectives. Translate strategic ambition into successful delivery outcomes and benefits realisation. Oversee resource planning and allocation across multiple projects and programmes. Drive delivery performance through effective governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management & Governance: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Influence and engage senior leaders to support successful change delivery. Provide clear and transparent reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. Ensure appropriate risk management and mitigation strategies are in place across delivery portfolios.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement. Embed best practice project and programme management approaches. Drive lessons learned activities and ensure continual enhancement of delivery capability. Support the adoption of modern delivery methodologies and practices across the wider business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven experience building, leading, and transforming Project Management or Delivery functions.
- A successful track record in senior change, transformation, or delivery leadership roles.
- Experience working within Agile environments, including Product and Value Stream delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive and leadership levels.
- Experience implementing project governance, assurance frameworks, and delivery standards.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience applying a range of delivery methodologies including Agile, Lean, PRINCE2, and APM.
- Experience operating within a regulated environment.
- A passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement and evolving delivery best practice.
