Overview:
Are you passionate about data and financial transformation? Join a leading global financial institution as a Data Programme Manager, where you’ll play a key role in driving data initiatives that support investment banking and regulatory programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, data-focused projects, ensuring high-quality, reliable data drives business decisions.
Role & Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of data and finance transformation projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
Provide MI and status reporting to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with Data, Finance, Technology, and Risk teams to maintain strong data governance, lineage, mapping, and quality.
Support regulatory and strategic finance initiatives, including sub-ledger upgrades, platform consolidations, and ERP implementations.
Contribute to programme management best practices and process improvements.
Liaise with vendors and third-party providers to ensure smooth delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5+ years’ experience delivering data or finance transformation projects within financial services.
Understanding of investment banking and securities operations.
Exposure to regulatory projects, sub-ledger/ledger systems, and ERP (Oracle).
Data-focused mindset with experience in data cleansing, mapping, lineage, and governance.
Strong Excel and MI reporting skills.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.Nice to have:
Knowledge of BCBS, VAT, invoicing, or other financial regulations.
Exposure to DataMart or other financial system transformations. xiskglj
Prince2 Foundation or equivalent certification.
