About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead to provide expert guidance, governance and assurance across construction-related activities for a major programme within the energy and infrastructure sector. This role is critical in upholding a zero-harm culture, ensuring regulatory excellence, and driving world-class safety performance. The successful candidate will act as the organisational specialist on CDM 2015 and related construction safety legislation, providing authoritative advice to senior leaders, programme teams, designers, and contractors. This is a 9 month contract with a strong focus on assurance, compliance oversight, and supporting the safe delivery of complex, high-hazard work environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the organisational expert on CDM 2015 and associated construction safety regulations.
- Develop, own, and maintain CDM governance frameworks, policies, procedures, standards, and guidance.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory CDM Client duties, including appointments, competence checks, notifications, and information management.
- Provide authoritative regulatory interpretation to Executives, Programme Directors, Project Managers, Designers, and Contractors.
- Lead the development of robust Assurance Plans.
