Role Overview: A prestigious public sector organisation is hiring two Senior Security Engineers with experience implementing Palo Alto Networks XSIAM within an enterprise highly secure government owner corporation. You must have active SC clearance. You will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and managing Palo Alto Networks XSIAM to improve threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and operational resilience. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior security professional to support a major cyber security initiative, improving automation, security analytics, and compliance with evolving Government security standards, including the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and Minimum Cyber Security Standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Palo Alto Networks XSIAM security platform
- Configure security policies, rules, and monitoring capabilities
- Improve threat detection, response, and security automation
- Investigate security alerts and support incident response activities
- Integrate security tools and enhance operational workflows
- Provide technical guidance to security and IT teams
- Produce security reporting and support continuous improvement
Essential:
- Strong experience within Security Operations / SOC environments
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks XSIAM or similar security platforms
- Strong knowledge of threat detection, monitoring, and incident response
- Experience with security tooling integration and automation
- Ability to analyse security incidents and identify threats
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Active SC Clearance required
