This role will focus on developing AI algorithms for Neural Network-based NLP and Computer Vision, while collaborating with institutional, academic, and commercial partners.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nDevelop and refine AI models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision\\nAdapt existing methods and create new scientific techniques and experimental protocols\\nTest hypotheses, analyze scientific data, and refine models based on findings\\nProvide expertise and guidance to other members of the AI research team\\nSupport bid writing and contribute to technical proposals\\nStay up to date with AI and space industry developments, identifying business opportunities\\nRepresent the company at conferences and meetings with clients, collaborators, and government agencies\\nKey Requirements\\n\\nActive SC Clearance is required\\nPhD or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience\\nExpertise in Neural Network-based NLP and Computer Vision\\nStrong programming skills in Python\\nProven ability to work collaboratively within a research team\\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\\nPreferred Skills\\n\\nPhD in Computer Vision, Speech/Audio Processing, or AI\\nTrack record of contributions to AI research and thought leadership\\nBackground in classical computer vision techniques\\nExperience in machine learning model development\\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\\nAbility to contribute to commercial project delivery and technical bid writing\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\nSalary: £100,000 (Depending on experience)\\nHighly flexible working environment\\nSignificant career progression opportunities\\nOpportunity to work on pioneering AI research in a high-growth start-up\\nAI Engineer– Permanent – Hybrid (Oxford 2 Days Per Week) – £100,000 – Active SC Clearance Required
