Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global SaaS company for an experienced Head of Infrastructure. You will take ownership of their end-to-end IT infrastructure, spanning network operations, cloud transformation, and enterprise systems. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring both strategic vision and a roll-your-sleeves-up mindset. You’ll work across international teams, champion innovation, and foster a collaborative culture while ensuring operational excellence and scalability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the organisation’s global IT infrastructure strategy
- Oversee on-prem and cloud platforms, network operations etc
- Drive on-prem to cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring efficiency and resilience
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing infrastructure teams
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align IT strategy with business objectives
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance across all infrastructure services
- Lead large-scale transformation programmes in enterprise environments
- Establish and promote a proactive, continuous improvement culture
- Act as a key escalation point, maintaining a hands-on approach when needed
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, and open leadership style
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior infrastructure leadership role (Head of / Director level)
- Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation programmes
- Experience managing international teams and complex stakeholder landscapes
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and migration strategies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, inspire, and develop teams
- Hands-on technical mindset with the ability to dive into detail when required
