This is a hands-on role building and maintaining customer-facing and backend platforms, working across the full stack with a Python-based backend. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week required on-site at the client's London office. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Python Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend integrations Build and maintain Python-based microservices and service components Design solutions that integrate with internal platforms, databases and third-party services Work closely with Product, Architecture, QA and other engineering teams Write clean, well-tested and maintainable Python code and participate in code reviews Contribute to backend architecture, API design and technical decision-making Troubleshoot and resolve performance, integration and production issues Skills
