The Opportunity
A highly reputable government backed corporation is hiring a DV cleared Platform Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-premises environment for a 6 month contract paying up to Β£630 PD Inside IR 35 to be based in Milton Keynes or London on site 3 days per week. This role is centred around deploying and supporting XDR security agents, Azure Arc, Azure Monitor Agent (AMA), and enterprise monitoring solutions, while ensuring secure, reliable platform services across Windows and Linux server estates. Working closely with Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams, you'll play a key role in improving platform visibility, security and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and support Azure Arc-enabled servers across Windows and Linux.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).
- Deploy, upgrade and maintain XDR/EDR security agents across enterprise environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and security using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching and security hardening.
- Support Azure networking, hybrid cloud services and related technologies.
