Intec Select is partnered with a highly reputable defence corporation who are seeking an Enterprise Architect as they embark on a key transformation programme. The EA will have DV clearance to support a complex, secure environment as they are entering a new phase of data transformation. This is a hands-on architecture modelling role, focused on organising, structuring, and enhancing existing architectural information.
You will play a key role in developing and refining enterprise-wide business architecture and user-facing technology models, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical delivery. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong ArchiMate and BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio experience, who excels at translating complex requirements into clear, structured architectural artefacts.
Core Responsibilities- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models and roadmaps
- Align technology strategy with business goals
- Model business processes, organisational structures, and data practices
- Analyse requirements and translate them into structured architectural outputs
- Create clear visual representations of workflows, systems, and capabilities
- Apply relevant architectures, standards, policies, and frameworks
- Improve and enhance the quality and value of architectural models
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate across business and technical teams to ensure alignment
- Strong proficiency in ArchiMate (essential)
- Proven experience using BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio (essential)
- Experience organising and structuring large volumes of architectural data
- Familiarity with TOGAF frameworks and principles
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across multiple domains
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft tooling
- Experience within defence or highly regulated environments
- Understanding of military systems or terminology
- Exposure to capability modelling and performance improvement initiatives
- Suitable for SFIA Level 4 (or equivalent), including early-career architects with strong modelling expertise
- DV Clearance preferred
- SC clearance may be considered
