Our client, a leading provider of Contract Electronic Manufacturing & Test Services based in Newbury, is seeking a Surface Mount Operator to join their growing team. Purpose of the Role: To operate surface mount PCB assembly equipment with accuracy and efficiency, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality electronic manufacturing services in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate surface mount (SMT) machinery, including set-up, run, and monitoring of production.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Ensure high levels of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with health and safety standards.
- Work independently and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to all company procedures, quality standards, and production protocols.
