Role Profile
inTEC South is growing, and we are looking for an accomplished Account & Business Development Manager to expand and develop our client base across the South. This is a blended role combining new-business acquisition with the development of long-term, commercially valuable client relationships.
You will manage the full business-development cycle – from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to proposing solutions, negotiating terms and securing new revenue – while also nurturing accounts and partnerships to support retention, recurring revenue and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will combine a sound foundation in IT and managed services with consultative selling, disciplined pipeline management and a genuine commitment to excellent client outcomes.

- Salary: £50,000 per annum + commission + car allowance
- Conditions: UK travel / full clean driving licence required
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research and qualify new-business opportunities across the agreed territory and target sectors.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound activity, events and strategic partnerships.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution development, proposals, presentations, commercial negotiation and close.
- Develop trusted relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their objectives and aligning appropriate inTEC solutions and services.
- Create account-development plans that increase client retention, recurring revenue, cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, forecasts, activity plans and opportunity updates.
- Achieve agreed revenue, margin, pipeline and activity targets, taking ownership of performance against plan.
- Collaborate with technical, service-delivery and commercial colleagues to ensure proposed solutions are viable, accurately scoped and clearly communicated.
- Work with Marketing to develop campaigns, events, content and propositions that generate demand and strengthen inTEC’s market presence.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and client feedback, sharing insight to improve propositions and identify new routes to market.
- Represent inTEC professionally at client meetings, networking events and industry forums.
- Support a smooth handover of new clients and opportunities to delivery teams, maintaining involvement to promote a positive client experience.

Experience
- At least three years’ successful experience in an MSP, IT services, technology or closely related business-development or account-management role.
- Demonstrable experience of winning new business and growing existing accounts against revenue targets.
- Working knowledge of managed IT services, cloud solutions, infrastructure, communications or business applications.
- Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing proposals and presenting to decision-makers.
- Ability to travel to client meetings, networking events and the Reigate office as required.
