As our Senior Engineering Manager at INTEC Energy Solutions UK, you will lead and grow the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of large scale solar power and BESS solutions. Your role will involve overseeing all engineering aspects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet all relevant design codes, quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and grow the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of large scale solar power and BESS solutions.
- Oversee all engineering aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet all relevant design codes, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams including procurement, construction, and operations to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage the engineering teams, budgets, and resource plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in engineering and design.
- This is a client facing role, representing INTEC with clients, stakeholders, and partners to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor and report on engineering progress, addressing any issues or risks promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar and clean energy technologies and integrate them into projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the solar power plant design, BESS solutions, and related technologies.
- Experience in project delivery of solar and BESS projects.
- Experience managing teams with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project solutions simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Detailed knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices within the solar and/or BESS sectors.
- A passion for sustainability and environmental solutions.
- Candidate must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
- Experience with advanced energy storage systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of grid integration and energy distribution.
- Experience in international projects and cross-cultural team management.
