Job Description Summary

INTEC is seeking a highly skilled and strategically minded Market Intelligence Analyst to drive global marketing and business intelligence efforts across the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s marketing direction by delivering deep market insights, competitive intelligence, and data-backed recommendations that inform both tactical campaigns and long-term strategic planning.

The successful candidate will be a proactive thinker with a strong analytical foundation, capable of synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable strategies. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and a strong understanding of global energy markets, customer behavior, and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market intelligence efforts by tracking and analyzing global and regional trends in renewable energy, with emphasis on Solar PV and BESS.
  • Conduct strategic research on project pipelines, investment patterns, and emerging technologies to inform marketing and business development strategies.
  • Monitor and interpret country‑specific regulations, incentives, and policy shifts that impact market dynamics and business opportunities.
  • Drive customer segmentation and CRM optimization to support targeted initiatives and enhance engagement.
  • Develop and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the development of global and country‑level marketing strategies through data‑driven analysis and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Procurement, Technical, and Project Management to ensure alignment and consistency in market data and strategic priorities.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify whitespace opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal databases and intelligence tools to support agile and informed marketing operations.

Qualifications

  • A passion for sustainability and environmental solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or Data Analytics; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market strategy, business analysis, or market intelligence, ideally within the renewable energy, EPC, or industrial B2B sectors.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other business intelligence platforms.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy markets, project development cycles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing analytics tools.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and SQL skills; experience with statistical modeling or forecasting is an asset.
  • Ability to distill complex data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Candidate must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
