INTEC Energy Solutions is hiring a Global Engineering Director to lead engineering, digital and technological strategy across our international Solar PV and BESS portfolio. This role will manage multidisciplinary teams in several countries and drive innovation, performance and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute global engineering and technology strategy
- Oversee PV design, BESS, SCADA, grid and digital systems
- Ensure technical compliance, standards and quality in EPC projects
- Lead R&D and innovation initiatives (e.g. high-efficiency modules, tracking, AI, data)
- Collaborate with Development, Construction and O&M on risk, performance and delivery
- Manage suppliers, partners and internal technical teams
- 10+ years in utility-scale Solar PV EPC (BESS experience required)
- Strong leadership in technical management/Engineering Director/CTO roles
- Deep knowledge of PV, BESS, grid codes, standards and full project lifecycle
- Experience in UK & European markets; global exposure a plus
- Fluent English; Spanish/German/French valued
- Strategic, innovative, and results-driven
- Key leadership position in a global solar company
