Intec Design are hospitality designers with an office in Belfast, primarily designing interiors for hotels, restaurants and bars in N. Ireland, Ireland and Europe.
This is a contract position for a Junior Interior Designer / CAD Designer based in Belfast. The Junior Designer will be responsible for drafting 2D CAD drawings, creating mood boards, and performing some minor administrative duties.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and strong time management capabilities. This role involves flexible working hours, dependent on project demands. It is best suited to those currently in training or recently qualified, who are able to accommodate a variable work schedule. Offered salary will be in line with experience and can be discussed at interview.
Qualifications:
- Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or CAD Technician background.
- Proficiency in CAD design software (Vectorworks preferred).
- Knowledge of interior design or construction/fit-out processes.
Other criteria:
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
- High attention to detail, strong communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel for administrative duties.
