Murray Plate are one of the UK’s largest steel plate stockholders, with a wide selection of steel grades in stock. The product range is backed by an established sales office network and logistical set-up that ensures swift delivery anywhere in the UK and to export customers.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 40 hours a week. Start date - TBC.

What you’ll do at work:

  • Picking Plate orders
  • Cutting plate by flame cut Pod
  • Operating overhead cranes
  • Unloading/Loading trailers
  • General warehousing
  • Diligence with all warehouse paperwork
  • Inputting Warehouse production data
  • Stock checking
  • Driving a fork truck/side loader/HGV Shunter
  • Following and maintaining health & safety procedures
  • Teamwork, problem solving and attention to detail

College or training organisation: INTEC BUSINESS COLLEGES LIMITED

Your training course: Supply chain warehouse operative, Equal to Level 2 (GCSE)
