The predicted salary is between 18500 - 25000 £ per year.

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the company's products and services meet or exceed quality standards. This includes developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting audits, and resolving quality issues. The Quality Coordinator also works with other departments.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am - 5pm (half hour lunch), Fri 8am - 12.30pm, 38.5 hours a week

Duration: 18 Months

What you'll do at work:

  • Conduct QA inspection at Goods Inwards
  • Carry out defect analysis and produce reports of findings
  • Deal with suppliers & customers on quality issues (Containment / 8D Log / Claim Form)
  • Submit PPAP and sign PSW (Parts Submission Warrant) to customer requirements
  • Assist line side at BMW as required with containment actions
  • New product involvement - feasibility check requirements
  • Conduct internal product and process audits and internal system audits
  • NCR (Non-Conformance Report) process
  • Liaise with internal departments on quality issues (Lead weekly quality meetings)
  • Assist in the writing of procedures and work instructions
  • Product knowledge requirements
  • Carry out calibration tasks on equipment
  • Deputise for the Quality Team leader
  • Attend regular quality meetings with customers & suppliers (Stakeholders)
  • Reporting of KPIs for quality
  • Carry out any reasonable request made by the Quality Team Leader
  • Carry out all activities related to PSCR (Product Safety & Compliance Representative)
  • Actively involved with continuous improvement initiatives

College or Training Organisation: INTEC BUSINESS COLLEGES LIMITED

Your training course: Improvement technician Equal to Level 3 (A level)

Essential qualifications:

  • GCSE English (Grade 9-4 (A*-C)) essential
  • GCSE Maths (Grade 9-4 (A*-C)) essential
